Christmas Decorations at Walt Disney World
I created this background, too.
I did it by creating a mask, which is really creating various levels of transparency of
showing the background layer.
The gold mat is created by using a gradient.
Using a drop shadow below the picture and below the mat makes it look real, not computer generated.
I also used clipart from Disney's Print Creations® Collection I, and added a drop shadow.
